We are camped outside of Yellowstone in the National Forest.
Chuck and Jan Moore are with us and we have a beautiful site overlooking the Teton Mountains.
One view is the mountains and the other view is a winding river , mountains, and ranch land.
We have seen deer, two eagles and their babies, osprey, sand cranes, and lots of cattle and horses.
For the first two nights we had Dennis and Pat from Calif.
camping with us.
On Monday we went into Jackson – what a tourist town. Very crowded and very expensive. We meet Carl and Joey from Utah and had lunch at the Virginian. After walking around town, we went to the National Museum of Wildlife Art outside of Jackson. There are around 3000 pieces of wildlife art from bronzes to paintings. It was very interesting and we enjoyed it.
Yesterday was a kick back day at camp.
Dean, Chica, and I took a walk along the river.
Of course we let Chica play in the water:
it was pretty warm when we walked.
Then in the afternoon we were
visited by Martha and Gene, who are campground hosts at the campground down the road.
Chuck and Jan know them from Yuma.
Today looks to be another kick-back day. We are all just enjoying the scenery and doing some reading and craft projects.
